- In Blackjack at a casino, the dealer faces one to seven players from behind an arc-shaped table. Each player plays his hand independently against the dealer.
- Once all players have placed their wager’s into one or more of the betting boxes then the dealer will deal clockwise one card to all boxes containing a bet, one to themselves and a second card to all boxes in play.
- Cards with a number 2 to 10 printed on them count as that value. Jack Queen King (also known as face cards) count as 10. Ace 1 to 11 (to give highest total without busting).
- Once you have your two cards the dealer will move around the table in a clockwise direction giving each player the option of drawing more cards on their hand.
- If you draw a card which takes your combined total over 21 you will have “bust” and your wager will have lost.
| - When each player is satisfied with their hand the dealer will take their turn to draw cards on the banks hand.
- If the dealer busts all remaining players who have cards will win. If neither busts the higher hand total wins.
- If a player ties with the dealer the hand is a push or stand off and the player’s bet is returned.
- All winning bets are paid at even money. However if you are dealt blackjack (ace with a card with value of ten) you are paid at odds of 3 to 2.
